The Open WaveWaterbike Project

Our new project is aimed to develop a human powered pedal boat capable of cruising at six knots and over with a length of only 2,6m using a high tech 'wave interference' hull.

The hull is using high tech wave interference to reduce drag by 35% at design speed, according to the breakthrough design pioneered by Theodor Eder.

We will begin the building of the first prototypes in March, 2012 under the direction of Andreas Schönwälder, who is the designer of the boat and the manager of the project.

We welcome your opinion and your collaboration, both on the technical and on the market side: please tell us.

Our boat is faster than mine.
